Using the webcam with a videoconferencing program the video on the receiving end is slightly pixelated (just because it may be set on the transmitting computer on HD mode doesn't mean that the video will look like broadcast TV on the receiving end). Once the driver from Logitech is installed the webcam works well. It does require downloading the driver from Logitech's website for the camera to work (I installed it in an older Windows 7 computer) the exact site took a little digging to find online but thanks to a search on Google I was able to find and install the driver. The unit easily sits atop a computer monitor. On a desktop, it is usually recommended to plug it into a USB port in the back of the computer rather than the front. The C370 webcam plugs into any available USB port.
